Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Announced for 2013

The teaser image and website from Konami did indeed turn out to be Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

The details are fairly skimpy on the upcoming title. What we do know is that it marks the return of a weakened Dracula. Having to face a new threat the Dark Vampire Lord must re-acquire his old powers and he needs his castle to do just that.

The release trailer is mostly CG but it does show a badass Dracula kicking an entire army’s ass before being confronted by a mysterious white haired man.

I hope that all the set pieces that made the first Lords of Shadow so good return, such as Oscar Araujo doing the score. Although at this point there has been no mention of Kojima or his studio.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be available for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in 2013.
