E3 2012: Ubisoft Unveils New IP, Watch Dogs

During Ubisoft’s press conference they unveiled a new and intriguing IP, Watch Dogs. The IP is being designed by Ubisoft Montreal with a team composed of Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow 6 and Far Cry members.

Watch Dogs follows the anti-hero Aiden Pearce whose ability to hack into any connected system allows him to fight back against a corrupt system. It allows him to do a variety of things from triggering a 30-car pileup by manipulating traffic-lights  to tapping into the city’s security cameras to access someone’s personal information.

What was shown of Watch Dogs was highly impressive and certainly a game to keep your eye on.
