MCV is reporting via The Telegraph that the almost doomed video game retailer, GAME, has been saved in a last minute deal with investment firm OpCapita.

According to the article, “ OpCapita deal would safeguard “the bulk” of its remaining 333 shops and “is likely to be announced as early as Sunday morning.” Well the deal has not been finalized all signs point to done deal.

This is definitely good news for all UK consumers as GAME was one of the major video game resellers and their absence would have been major. Hopefully not to many stores and customers are lost in the transfer.
